Asian Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 We just startedt this topic in class and i dont understand it. I know this is a very basic problem but I need some help on where to start. If the partial pressures of oxygen and carbon dioxide are 565mm Hg and 225Hg respectivley, what would be the total pressure of the system?
John Cuthber Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Dalton's law says that the total pressure is the sum of the partial pressures. In this case 565+225 ie 790mmHg
