Baby Baggins Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Can someone tell me if this is right please? Theoretical yield of H2SO4: Relative atomic masses: H = 1; S = 32; O = 16; N = 14 Molecular mass of sulphuric acid H2SO4 = (1 x 1) + 32 + (16 x 4) = 97 Molecular mass of ammonia solution NH3 = 14 + (1 x 3) = 15
timo Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Molecular mass of sulphuric acid H2SO4 = (1 x 1) + 32 + (16 x 4) = 97 You only considered one H atom. But it´s H2... Just out of curiosity: Why did you post that under the relativistic physics section and not in the chemistry sections? EDIT: Seems that Baby Baggins did post it in the chemistry section, too: http://www.scienceforums.net/forum/showthread.php?t=24730 . I propose that further replies should go there.
