hmmmm.... I was doing some of the polls on the website (i had nothing better to do), and whenever you submit an entry to the poll, it takes you to the main page rather than back to the main thread itself!

That didn't happen to me!

It only does that for polls in the poll section.

 

Polls in normal threads shouldn't redirect you out of the thread, iirc.

yeah. This happened to me in the polls section only!

Then it's working normally.

Why does it do that??

It assumes you've come from the front page poll (always the newest posted poll in the polls forum) and sends you back to the front page to view the results.

If by 'fixed' you mean 'changed', then no.

 

It should be fairly simple to let the script know if the user came from the front page, or from a thread.
