Dreamer Posted January 13, 2004 Posted January 13, 2004 Did any of you people had a dream to be a scientist, but once actually met science experienced disappointment?
Sayonara Posted January 13, 2004 Posted January 13, 2004 Wouldn't that make a disillusioned dreamer? Not really, btw. Not personally anyway. I have certainly met people who that might describe though.
YT2095 Posted January 13, 2004 Posted January 13, 2004 Not at all, quite the opposite in fact. I was taught Science before I could even spell it! I`de built my 1`st radio at the age of 6 had a chemistry set at 5 that my mother used to help me with, and electronics set at age 5 that my grandfather would help with, had 100% access to my mothers 900X microscope at any time, and all the books I could even wish for. for me, the answer is a resounding NO! it`s just got more interesting ever since
Cookie Posted January 13, 2004 Posted January 13, 2004 No...in fact, I never saw myself as a scientist at all. I started off wanting to go to veterinary school, but then I got to university, started working in the research lab...and got hooked! Cookie
