The_simpsons Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 This picture is from christmas eve in Thailand, where i photographed this snake. Anybody have a clue what species it is? Is it a colubrid?
Mokele Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 It's a brown Kukri snake (Oligodon purpurascens), like this one, but yours is a much more attractive specimen. They're rear-fanged, so technically possess venom, but the venom can't affect humans. Mokele
