mamakosj Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 I am doing A' level physics, and for one of my courseworks, I am doing a presentation on nylon; its history, properties and uses. I am currently at the research stage, so any pointers would be much appreciated. If you know of any good websites, books, journals, articles or any other pieces of information, which would be of use, then please tell me. Thank you in advance.

Cyanide Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 From 'Nylon: the First 25 Years,' DuPont Magazine, 1963, pp. 20-21 Collection of Jane C. Wylen Reproduced courtesy DuPont I hope these will help.
mamakosj Posted February 22, 2007 Author Posted February 22, 2007 Thank you for your help; it is much appreciated. Also, if anyone has any tips on presentation techniques and such like, please feel free to share your knowledge.
Cyanide Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Well presentation ideas...that's vague. If you aren't 100% comfortable with public speaking.. I'd suggest powerpoint. Always have a backup plan in case the Powerpoint doesn't work!
mamakosj Posted February 22, 2007 Author Posted February 22, 2007 Thank you....again! I'll have a go at using 'Microsoft Powerpoint' as my presentation aid. Do you have any suggestions to help me make the most of powerpoint, or do you know of any advanced controlls that i cold use to my benefit?
Cyanide Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 I haven't used Powerpoint in awhile.. So specifically I can't be of much help. I suggest fiddling around with the effects/noises/animations. Make it professional but 'fun' at the same time.
