Gypsy Cake Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 HI, I'm from the UK. I wondered if anyone had any tips for getting into Cambridge to do Natural Sciences (Physical). Good subjects to read into? Specific colleges? Cheers.
Severian Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 College-wise, I would recommend Churchill. It is the most Science orientated, and will have (I think) the largest proportion of your fellow science students. Also, because it is not as old as te other colleges, it is not so stuffy and is possibly slightly easier to get in (since the arts types like the old pretty colleges).
Gypsy Cake Posted April 4, 2007 Author Posted April 4, 2007 Thanks for your reply. I was thinking of Churchill for the very reason you said. But also Fitzwilliam because it accepts a high percentage of state school; not that it particularly bothers me but sill. Do you know much about fitzwilliam? Plus, do you go to Cambridge/know someone there? And if so, do you/they enjoy it? cheers.
