superconductive disk

Not exactly. Just doing experiments with magnets, and the attracting poles on one set of magnets keeps getting in the way, and I need something that will constantly repel the other set of magnets.

Diamagnetic and Superconductiveness are diffrent.

Diamagnetic materals such as Prolyic (probbebly spelled diffrently than that) Graphite oppose (repell) all magnetic feilds regardless or polarity (north or southness). You should probbebly use neodymn magnets with it for sufficent effect.

Superconducters require verry cold tempritures to use and are verry cool in both meanings of the word but verry wastefull on liquid nitrogen.

Please brear in mind that onipoler magnets do not exsist for a reason, you can't just "get rid off" one pole.

superconductors aren't cheap.

i think you'll pay about $100 for a square cm.

even pyrolytic graphite is hard to make and therefore comes at a hefty price.

your best bet is bismuth. it has a weak diamagnetisim but you can get it far easier.

what sorts of forces are you looking for? a superconductor can only handle so much flux before it loses it's properties temporarily.

most metals will exhibit superconductivity if you chill them enough.
