one_1 Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Hi Could someone please help me by explaining what the conjugated secondary antibody Anti mouce HRP is ? I mean why is it conjugated with HRP and not something else for example FITC? Thanks!
CharonY Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 There are a lot of conjugates that one can use, with different advantages and disadvantages (e.g. dependent on application, throughput, detector and of course, price). HRP is horseradish peroxidase and is used for enzymatic assays as compared to fluorescent dye conjugates.
