Recommended Posts

Hi

Could someone please help me by explaining what the conjugated secondary antibody Anti mouce HRP is ? I mean why is it conjugated with HRP and not something else for example FITC?

Thanks!

There are a lot of conjugates that one can use, with different advantages and disadvantages (e.g. dependent on application, throughput, detector and of course, price).

HRP is horseradish peroxidase and is used for enzymatic assays as compared to fluorescent dye conjugates.
