hi every one,

i am new member in this forum , & i wanna ask you question , it`s improtant for me,

what is better

mathematics science or math\computer science ?

please , i need your help

Posted

lmao :D

also, if you just take mathematics science, you'll be on average a level higher than if you multiclass mathematics/computer science.

Wissan, we're just joking with you ;) in what way do you mean 'better'? mathematics/computer science (presumably meaning stuff like programming, and the kind of maths that are used in programing) is better for computer-related stuff, whilst mathematics science (presumably maths in general) is better for... well, general maths stuff.

Mathematics, because it gives +3 to defense.

ok thank you Atheist about your reply

please i`m wissam not Wissan:-(

in what way do you mean 'better'

i think math\computer is more than difficult , and more interesting ,

i am at the second year at the university , & the popular question that i

have been asked is ," what you will work after graduation ?you are neither

math student nor computer student !

i really love math computer & philosophy so i choose to study math\computer ,

so the big problem that`s I don`t know what is my importance

to my country or my society ? ,they always looking for the one who is

good in special thing .

so i think the best thing I can do , continue my study and take master , and

after that take PhD . and then go and live in forest alone . :-(

thank you Dak about your reply , and i hope i explain what i mean

Mathematics and computer science have a lot of cross over and computers are used in mathematics all the time. I don't think you should worry about it too much.

But, if you asked me if it were easier to teach a computer scientist maths or a mathematician/physicist computer science, I know which one to chose.

Do whatever you feel like, a degree should be for your benefit first and your career's benefit second. If you think Maths with CompSci would be more interesting for you, and you'd value the challenge more, then do that.
