-Demosthenes- Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 It made sence in my head for about 5 min. Then right in the middle of my post it stopped.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted February 2, 2004 Author Posted February 2, 2004 At least you didn't confuse all of us.
-Demosthenes- Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 Yep, so...uh...is light speed slowing down or what?
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted February 2, 2004 Author Posted February 2, 2004 No, did you read what I wrote? I said it may have changed just after the universe was made, then stayed the same.
-Demosthenes- Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 So it's not getting slower as we speak (sorry if that sounds gay)
bt redliner Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 I don'tknow , because we can't see the speed of light. light speed to me is like trowing a punch and ending at the same place.
-Demosthenes- Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 But they have measured it. They had like lots and mirrors and stuff really far away...I really don't know what I'm talking about. Does anyone know how they measured the speed of light??
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted February 2, 2004 Author Posted February 2, 2004 Yes, they had two places really far away with syncronized clocks, and timed how long it took for the light, and then figure out the speed.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted February 2, 2004 Author Posted February 2, 2004 So what do you think of the theory?
bt redliner Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 Cap'n Refsmmat said in post # :So what do you think of the theory? who?
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted February 2, 2004 Author Posted February 2, 2004 THE THEORY IN THE FIRST POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! duh!
-Demosthenes- Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 I think what I said in post #2, I'm to lazy to say it again.
bt redliner Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 Cap'n Refsmmat said in post # :THE THEORY IN THE FIRST POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! duh! You misunderstood my question, who are you asking?
wolfson Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 "Time= speed of light, i can prove it" I like to see this I do know that if a person is accelerated toward the speed of light time slows down for that person.
wolfson Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 Oh and bt redliner, i think you will be needing this: x=r*t*d =s~ l=t
bt redliner Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 If we can only measure time thought the moment of the earth. Then where is the past time gone? We only see it in our minds. But why can't we see it in the physical world? if you take a plane from Boston to cali it takes you how long to get there? Determining the velocity we are traveling at? So the faster we travel the faster we to get places. meaning that there's no distance at all?
