Comandante Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 can anyone recommend some good books on electrochemistry... but I mean really good books.. and preferably not too old. and .. I'm not interested in websites unless they're just too good to miss.
Tartaglia Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Crow is the usual undergraduate text http://www.amazon.co.uk/Principles-Applications-Electrochemistry-D-R-Crow/dp/0748743782/ref=sr_1_1/202-5649812-5211002?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1181830062&sr=8-1
Comandante Posted June 15, 2007 Author Posted June 15, 2007 Thanks. Though, isn't there a newer edition?
Tartaglia Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 I can't see one on Amazon. If its just for passing an exam then a 1994 edition will be plenty recent enough. If its for research then I doubt you would be asking on here
Comandante Posted June 16, 2007 Author Posted June 16, 2007 It's not for an exam, I passed my 'bit' on electrochem this semester. But it was decently basic. It's not for research though either, just for me. Even if it was for research, why would I underestimate power of SFN But yeah, I just realized they have couple of new and unused of that 1994 edition so I might consider that. I wanted to buy electrochem book to have it so to say, but I don't feel like buying used one .. so , I'll check this one out in library first and if I like it I'll get back to Amazon. Thanks.
