Off-diagonal Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 I heard something about adiabatic invariance in quantum mechanics. So I try to search for information about it,but I can't find it. Would you told me?
swansont Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Where/how did you search? Wiki was the first Google hit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adiabatic_invariant
Off-diagonal Posted July 16, 2007 Author Posted July 16, 2007 I read that article, but it doesn't have what I want to know. What I want to know is about adiabatic invarience in quantum information field , but I want to listen the ideas of all.
swansont Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Adiabatic invariants are constants of motion that remain constant with adiabatic changes in parameters, but that was already explained in the article. You're going to have to define what you mean by a quantum information field, and take some further steps in narrowing your question.
