TANIA Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 What are RFLP,and what are their importance in genome analysis?
CharonY Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Please post in the homework section. Also try to at least make an effort to describe your problem with understanding. For starters you could point out that RFLP=Restriction fragment length polymorphism. And that that name alone hints at what it actually is.
Dak Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 as charon said, the name kinda hints what it's for. mutations cause polymorphisms in the length of the fragments that result from restriction. RFLP measure these. tbh, searching wiki for RFLP should give you a relitively good overview, and allow you to go on and learn about them properly. if there's any specific bits that you don't understand, then ask away and we'll help you learn.

Dave Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 by the way this is in the homework help section It may have been/probably was moved from another section into this forum.
Dak Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 I am in your forums, moving your threads!!!1 should probably have mentioned it.
neiduren Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 it is very easy .if you want to know it in detail ,you can read some book of molecular biology .
