Now that the fuss has calmed down a little, and all the information is there for those who want to look, I thought it would be interesting to see how people are reacting to the fall-out from the Hutton enquiry.

I trust them more now than before this whole thing.

The whole Hutton thing was a whitewash and nothing more than a distraction, the BBC should get over it and get back to asking the right questions.

The question is badly worded, because it could either be interpreted to mean 'Has it been detrimental to your opinion of the bbc?' or 'Do you think that the BBC's reputation as a whole has been damaged?'

Are you sure you mean "badly worded", or do you mean "open to interpretation and should allow a wide scope for discussion"?

(Hence the "Other" option)

I think that the credibility of the bbc has definitely been damaged, one way or another. But i think that many people including myself will still trust the bbc because of their reputation.

I think the credibility of the enquiry system had been damaged. There is no way that the government acted entirely correctly as the result states. I want to know who's pocket Lord Hutton is in.

I know what I mean. A poll needs to be very well defined, because you're trying to collect the relative numbers of opinions. Obviously, if people who hold the same opinion can vote for diametrically opposite results, it's a flawed poll.

It seems to me that critics of the enquiry seem to have made prior judgement of the government and BBC, and only disagree wth the hutton report based purely on what they think that it should have said. The report hence was meaningless because everyone looked at it with fixed and preconcieved notions anyway.

Its turning into bloody ITV, really not related to the 'hutton enquiry'.

All good documenteries? Scrapped.

Gone are the days of hardcore 'Horizon' programmes, and those ones where somebody goes round investigating companies and shouting at them with a secret camera.
