Farsight Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Sorry if this is perhaps a little off topic, but somebody was talking about Planck's Constant. I know why Planck's Constant is what it is. Yes, it's a constant of action, but I know why, and why it's really something else. Oh, and guess what, it isn't actually constant. Think Pound-Rebka.

ydoaPs Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 Come on Farsight! You're on to something. Let's hear it.
MrSandman Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Are you going to go into quantum mechanics, or not?
John Cuthber Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 OK, I thought about this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pound-Rebka_experiment and I still think Planck's work stands. Please explain why you think the constant isn't constant.
