alt_f13
consciousness transcends th laws of physics and cannot then be considered the product of biological and cerebral processes How? Every materialistic attempt to explain the existence of consciousness implies that what suffers, loves, desires, feels etc. in us are objects such as electrons or electromagnetic fields. The point is that objects can feel nothing at all; objects cannot feel happiness, sadness, love, anger,self-awareness, etc. Who says? Just because a junk heap on the ground can't shoot lightning up my arse doesn't mean the same junk arranged in the fashion of a generator, capacitor and a series of grounded terminals couldn't... If everything you say is true, that would render the processes of complex proteins and acids useless, as your arguments for the most part exclude important chemical reactions that take place in the body all together. The sum of the pieces don't always equal the value of the entire enterprise.

As I have explained, the concept of complexity is subjective. Proteins are only set of particles. The fact that some molecules contains more particles than others, does not mean that these molecules can think or feel emotions. Since the concept of complexity is subjective, and subjectivity implies the existence of consciousness, the concept of complexity cannot be used to try to explain the existence of consciousness. This would be an obvious logical contraddiction. Marco
x__heavenly__x
There is one point i like to share and I feel is related that " MATTER " and " ENERGY" are from the same source or they r the same thing( like light being same with diff frequencies and hence colors)...You cud ponder ower this
Michael12
This "marco" has been peddling this trash all over the internet. It's been ripped to shreds on every board he's posted it. He claims a PhD. in Physics, yet he knows nothing about the scientific method, experimentation, or interpretation of data. His response on any question you ask of him would be "you don't understand". My favorite remark from "marco" was "We know everything there is to know". LOL
