moonlight429 Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 Hi friends, last week I have had visited a dietitian. Because recently I have gained a little weight around 30lbs in 9 months. I know this can make me look ugly. And after checkup the dietitian suggest me to do alternate cardio with a few days of weights/pilates and bumping up the intensity of cardio every two weeks will do just as much as 1hr of cardio every day. And she also told me that building muscle will help me burn fat and I may weigh 135 pounds but will look like 110.” Now here comes the problem I am kind a lazy kind of guy. So how do I motivate my self?
ecoli Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 try looking in the mirror at yourself... badabing!
iNow Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 Decide that you want to get laid by an attractive female, and that attractive females generally don't like the "sweet guy with a sweet tooth" unless there's that somewhat unlikely "spark." It's amazing how motivated one can be when it comes to sex. Anyway, find something you enjoy and it's much easier. Good luck to you.
Realitycheck Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 Diet is everything. Try this purification diet out. For 3 weeks, eat nothing but fruits, vegetables, and meats, preferably without cooking the vegetables, as this kills the enzymes. You don't want to overdo the fruits. Keep them at a ratio of about 1 part fruits to 2 parts vegetables. Your meats should be extremely clean, very low fat. If you want to do it right, the diet actually calls for nothing but fish and whey protein. This diet will noticeably improve your energy levels, help with aches and pains, make you lose weight, the list goes on and on, and it will set you off on the right foot. You also want to be sure to avoid all energy drinks and stimulants, with one exception, you can have all of the green tea you want.
MrSandman Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 I think you need some surious self reflection. Ask yourself if you want to be hindered from things you love because of being over weight. Start thinking about things you want to become. Go for the goals, they might not be physically active, but if you have something to keep your mind off food you'll probably lose weight.
