YT2095 Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 potash is usualy considered as potassium carbonate, although the extension if often applied to other potassium based chems including potassium hydroxide, where the name original came from Ashes and sure can use it, it`s just as good as the potassium chloride at displacing the sodium in sodium nitrate, mentioned in your gunpowder thread
