GIZMOHOTEL Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 How Can U Say It Wouldn't Truly Be The Universe If It Ended, The Universe Means Nothing It's Just A Name Us Humans Gave It. The Universe Doesn't Mean That It's Everything Accept For What We Can See/know Which Could Possibly Described As Everythng, It's Easy Just To Say The Universe Is Everything But Until We Have Gained The Technology To See Beyond The Horizons Everyone Is Going To Have To Keep Guessing. Who Know There Could Be A Totally New Universe Where Fire Is Cold An Ice Is Hot, All Our Intelligence On The Subject Is Gatherd On What We Know And What Is Normal Like The Universe Can't Go On Forever That Is Jus How We See Things We Find It As Abnormal, But Gravity Is Abnormal Isn't It You Don't Fall Off The Bottom Of The Earth When You Go To Austrailia, So Try An Think Of Things As Being Abnormal Like Gravity Then The Ideas Start!!!!!!! Actually the probability of a particle being in any one place is proportionate to its last measured location, this means that there still is an infintesimal chance of a particle being an infinite distance away, meaning the universe would be infinite. However this needs to somehow be resolved with relativity, since things cannot travel faster than the speed of light we can draw a radius of probability which expands at the speed of light as time progresses. Thus, unless space itself has expanded faster than the speed of light (which it has, so it kinda throws this out the window), all matter/energy in the universe has a radius of probability of ~14 billion light years. The universe is everything. If the universe ended and something else began then the original thing you called the universe wouldn't truly be the universe. tvp45 Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 But it's physically impossible for ice to be hot - one could never make a decent Daquiri.
swansont Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 I think I'm freakin out. Shouldn't that be: I Think I'm Freaking Out I Think I'm Freaking Out I Think I'm Freaking Out ?
timo Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 No, It Should Of Course Be "I Think I'm Freaking Out!!!!!" !!!!

foodchain Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Relatively speaking fire on earth say from a campfire compared to the surface of the sun if probably freezing. In comparison to human though if you could survive the sun fire also probably would be freezing:D If by chance that is what you mean. I know from growing up in some places or experiencing some places that what is warm temp to some can be freezing to others:eek: I imagine also if by chance you just mean ice as a solid form of some mass or matter being warm compared to other things such, iron at room temp is probably burning hot compared to solid helium. Though if you just reference such from the point of being a human it hardly equates into meaning anything i think.
