JohnB Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 http://people.csail.mit.edu/rahimi/helmet/ From the study; Conclusion The helmets amplify frequency bands that coincide with those allocated to the US government between 1.2 Ghz and 1.4 Ghz. According to the FCC, These bands are supposedly reserved for ''radio location'' (ie, GPS), and other communications with satellites (see, for example, [3]). The 2.6 Ghz band coincides with mobile phone technology. Though not affiliated by government, these bands are at the hands of multinational corporations. What a cunning plan, worthy of Baldrick at his best. Are you feeling paranoid yet? Is there any way to correct the spelling in the thread title? I'm so ashamed.
DrDNA Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 I'm taking mine off immediately, but what about the one my dog has on; should it stay or go?
Pangloss Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 If I answered that question you'd probably want to put YOURS back on. And I need it to stay off for a while.
DrDNA Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Just send me the answer at 1.3 GHz....I'll get it.
