Rote Learner Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 For some odd reason the politics thread is set to private so I am posting this here. As most of you may know today is Ron Paul's day of donations. Nov. 5 For those of you who don't know much about Ron Paul here are some links: http://www.ronpaul2008.com/about/ videos: i think he raised around $2.1 million just today. He wants to try to beat Mitt Romney's record of $3.1 million> just something to think about for those of you who haven't heard of him. check out his ideas, he's got my families/friends votes if he makes it to the cards
Sayonara Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 You need 50+ non-spam posts to use the politics forum.

Sayonara Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 o thank you, haven't gotten around to reading all the rules yet, thank you Not a problem. I would suggest that you do read the rules, as we have some key differences from your average web community.
CDarwin Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 Comment on Paul: He could really affect the vote in New Hampshire. That's a libertarian state and it's an open primary. That means if he's pulling voters away from the Democratic primary to vote for him, he could single handedly affect the distribution of votes candidates from both parties receive, and by extension the rest of the campaign, without actually winning. Pretty nifty.
Pangloss Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 If we had a discussion on Ron Paul here then it would obviate the purpose of restricting Politics to 30+ posts. Sorry.
ecoli Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 I created a thread to talk about Ron Paul and the recent money bomb. Feel free to discuss it over there.
