I'm sure many of you know of the film The secret. There was little science in the video which would lead even mildly sceptical people to pass it off as rubbish.

 

Briefly, it says that through the power of human emotion and thought we can bring about what ever we want in our lives no matter how big or small it is. They say in the video that this "law of attraction" is strongly linked with quantum physics.

 

I don't quite understand the link below but I think many of you would. Dr. John Hagelin Quantum physicist presents the answer. its linked with stopping crime and stuff.

If we consistenly focus our minds on specific thoughts, then we will tend to realize those things more frequently. We will search for affirmatoins of our thoughts, whether consciously or unconsciously, and the specific thoughts on which we focus will serve as a guiding path. However, it's extremely important to realize that, despite the power and intensity of our focus, there are certain specific limitations imposed on us by nature.

 

So, I can "manifest" a college degree, or a high paying job, or a loving relationship, but I cannot "manifest" my ability to time travel, or to make a perpetual motion machine, or to go faster than the speed of light.

With determination you can do some truly incredible things -- hence Edison's motto, "Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration." (or something like that). However, determination will not give you magical powers.

I agree with both of you that this is true.

 

However, the meaning of the post was to try and start some sort of discussion that supernaturalness is actually simply natural.

 

This is why its so interesting. These links suggest that the universe its self actually rearranges to your "magnetic signal".

 

And yes my question is slightly answered^^
