Hi! Could you tell me which phrase is true "Department of diagnosis imaging" or "Department of imaging diagnosis" ?

I am not good at English, just think that the second is right ???

I guess it depends on what they do.

 

"Department of Diagnosis Imaging" implies that this department is responsible for the process which allows the diagnosis to be made based on an image.

 

"Department of Imaging Diagnosis" implies that this department is responsible for diagnosis of issues with imaging equipment.

 

 

That is... that's what they imply to me. Looking at it again, both would work.

 

 

How about "Diagnostic Imaging Department?"

Hard to make them become easily understand :)

The second is better but the first has its own argument, both would work :)

If it is a hospital department, it is Diagnostic (an adjective) imaging department. In the UK, at any rate.
