alanejackson Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 Just keep in mind always that you cannot assimilate inorganic minerals. You can only assimilate organic minerals which come from that which is living or has lived. -- Page 34, The Shocking Truth about Water, by Paul C. Bragg.
ecoli Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 interesting. I wonder how all those reactions involving inorganic phosphate work, in my biochem textbook.
Edtharan Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 I wonder how all those reactions involving inorganic phosphate work Or Sodium Chloride?
insane_alien Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 You can only assimilate organic minerals which come from that which is living or has lived so, your saying that this lab produced sugar i have here that has never contacted a living thing won't make me hyper if i eat it?
John Cuthber Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 Interestingly that idea would mean that life could never get started because all the stuff started out as "inorganic". Another possible conclusion is that the assertion is simply false. Since I'm here and alive I know what I'm going to believe.
YT2095 Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 actually you could probably even extend that further and say once upon a time there wasn`t even Atoms to Make anything Organic or otherwise with! maybe with the exception of Hydrogen perhaps?

I'm sure it helps to sell Bragg's organic vinegar, olive oil and sea kelp seasoning. Does it have to be truthful to be commercially viable?
JohnB Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 Does it have to be truthful to be commercially viable? Haven't been to many marketing lectures have you?

And if I buy the book for $8.75 I can find out other "shocking truths".......like..."Water Is The Key To All Body Functions!" Amazing! Quite frankly, I'm also shocked at the water logged human. "Another side of water imbalance is due to the excess use of inorganic salt and salty foods, which leads to the waterlogged human. You see young children 7 to 10 or more years old who are so waterlogged that they look grotesque. Some of these children have bloated and middle aged-looking bodies. Just compare them to the adults with their bloated and puffed-up faces, arms, bellies, legs, ankles and feet." http://www.evolutionhealth.com/bragg_h20.html
ecoli Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 I don't suspect alanejackson will be back. Therefore, I don't mind highjacking the thread. The premise of the book, or so I've researched, is that 'hard water', water that has mineral deposits, esp. calcium, hardens the arteries causing strokes, cardiovascular diseases, etc. however, there is no evidence that this is true. The book presents anecdotal evidence only.
DrDNA Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Sounds like he knows just enough to be dangerous. Thank God he is interested in water and not pyrochemistry.
