Basically does decoherence exist as a possible answer to the measurement problem of quantum mechanics from postulating that entanglement gives rise to environments or more of the same?

Are you trying to ask, "Does decoherence explain how entanglement causes the measurement problem known as Heisenberg Uncertainty?" ... because even that rephrasing doesn't make much sense to me.

The Holographic Universe Michael Talbot (1953-1992), born in Australia, was the author of a number of books highlighting parallels between ancient mysticism and quantum mechanics, and espousing a theoretical model of reality that suggests the physical universe is akin to a giant hologram. mod note: excerpt apparently from "The Holographic Universe" removed
