NeonBlack Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Do you mean that 31 days is 'nearly 32 days'?
Janus Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 The sideal month (fixed star to fixed star) is 27.3 days The synodic month (full moon to full moon) is 29.531 days. It is the synodic month that determines whether or not there is a Blue Moon in any given calender month. 27.6 days is close to the anomalistic month. (perigee to perigee or apogee to apogee)
copperstream Posted February 21, 2008 Author Posted February 21, 2008 I'm not talking about any other months.Iam an Indian. Certain months of Tamil calendar (Aadi , Thai ) have obviously 32 days (rarely). So according to our calendar , we see blue moon days once in five years.
