nameuser Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 The letters A through M equal 202, hence the letters N to Z equal ??? Does anyone have a clue? I can't think of anything except assigning different integer values to vowels and consonants (which is a no go because then there's more than one solution), or similarly unsatisfying stuff.
hermanntrude Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 each letter is worth 15.538461538461538461538461538462 That way, a-m =202, n-z = 202 also. This is one possible answer which is not forbidden by the terms of the question.
= W = Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Have you tried primes? Let A=2, B=3, C=5, D=7, E=11, F=13, G=17 etc. Add up only consonants.
Realitycheck Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 It looks like it should be an evenly spaced series totalling 202, then totalling an even greater number past N, but I don't have time to figure it out right now. No go, but I could think of a bunch of creative ways to make it work.
