I've been wondering for a while if the things that we think control are lives such as angel or demons so to say, control what goes on in the outside world, Or is is it just us simply believing is something that we want to be true.(therfore making it true). And if this is true does anything really sincerly exist, or are we just in one big mental trip???

Have you looked into existential philosphy? Sartre, Kierkegaard, Tillich, deBeuvoir... You might enjoy it if you're considering such ideas.

It's all man-made definition, but it all means something. Animals only kill under specific survival-related conditions. Real evil is kind of a man-made invention. Angels and demons are definitely man-made pieces of fiction. Nothing controls people other than what is plainly evident, such as parents and the law, or not so evident, such as psychotic voices in their brain. And yes, we really exist, but only what is evident. Mental trips don't have lots of evidence to back them up.

I'd say irrational philosophy, Schopenhauer, Bergson, Niche.... they deal with concepts like the OP mentioned!

Yep... nothing spooky...

<you fool don't you no that science isn't real and doesn't matter. It is becuase everything in science can be disproved. for it is only philosophy that matters and truly exists>

Everything that is unexplained is perfectly explainable, if only all of the facts are available. Stories past down by word are full of inaccuracies and exaggerations. Misunderstandings from over the ages can be attributed to misintrepretations of language, hallucinations by the writers, and outright mythology, derived by whatever reason. The list really goes on and on. This is what has propagated all of the junk belief systems that we have today, "refined spiritual belief systems."

It really sounds like you want to be a Moslem. That is where they believe that God makes them do everything that they do. Do you feel compelled or controlled to do your actions? Welcome to Islam! Which literally means "submission to God." Release your bonds and be one with Allah! He awaits you! (Just leave Dan Brown out of it.)

Plus you get 40 virgins. Which is always a plus.

I believe "40" refers to the number acres a slave who was freed after the civil war would receive. The number you're searching for is "72" virgins. Or, perhaps you are thinking of a Steve Correll movie about a 40 Year Old virgin?

Who wants a virgin anyway? I've found that girls who know what they're doing tend to be a lot more fun.

Does that mean that there needs to be 72 times as many virgins as muslims that go to heaven? Does that mean that women are that much holier than men, or are they just favored by allah? I'll have to ask some radical muslim sometime.

There are outside forces acting on us, it is just that none of them are supernatural. Other people influence our behaviours (ever heard of peer pressure), and these other people are outside of us.

<you fool don't you no that science isn't real and doesn't matter. It is becuase everything in science can be disproved. for it is only philosophy that matters and truly exists>

Science was once known as Natural Philospohy. So if you are saying that philosophy exists, but science doesn't you are not really makeing any sense. You are essentially saying that philosphy does, and at the same time, doesn't exist. Which makes no sense.

It is not that everything in siceince can be disproved, it is that they attempt to disprove everything. Anything left standing must be correct (or as near to being correct as we can test).

The aincient greeks used to believe that thought and logic alone could describe the universe. There was no need to actually go out and do something as crude as checking if their hypothisis actually worked the way they though it did in the real world. This is the concept of philosophy that you are talking about.

They came up with all sorts of theories and could logically and mathematically prove that they were corrct. One such a philosopher was Zeon. He came up with a logical proof that said that if you shot an arrow at a tortise then the arrow would never hit.

As he said, if you shot the arrow, then by the time it had moved half the distance to the tortise, then the tortise will have move on a bit. There fore the arrow now has more than half the distance to travel. By the time the arrow has traveled half this remaining distance then the tortise will have moved on a bit further still. So on and so forth, this means that by the time the arrow has traveled half the remaining distance, then the tortise will have moved on and mathematically this means that the arrow will never catch up to the tortise.

But, if you were to go out and stoot an arrow at a tortise, you would definitly hit it.

It is from paradoxes like these that some philosophers were vrude and impolite enough to actually go out and test the logic of their betters. What they found was that pure philosophy was not adiquate to describe what occurs in the real world. So philosophies created that depended on checking with the natural world became natural philosophy which we call science.

So in this sense science is far more real than philosophy because pure philosophy only deals with thoughts and not the physical world around us.
