daniellao Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 Sulfur dioxide has an enthalpy of vaporization of 24.9kj/mol. At 205K, SO2 has a vapor pressure of 30.3mmhg. What is the normal boiling point temp of SO2?
hermanntrude Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 what you need to read is here or more likely in your textbook. If you're a chemistry student, which i expect you are, read the section of your textbook on the clausius-clapeyron equation. remember that the normal boiling point of a liquid is the temperature at which its vapour pressure is equal to 1atm.
asecco Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 According to literature is 263,1 K. Check any CRC Handbook
