But where can we find any crackpots here at SFN, YDOAPS? It's not like the admins have given approval to yoinking their custom avatar privileges and forcing them to use this one:

Yet.

Does the crackpot have to be currently active on this site (e.g. alanejackson), or can it be one from the past (e.g. Farsight, Zarkov, etc.)?

It would make more sense if you only used it on currently-operating ones, so you could mark off spaces as time goes on. With a lot of the older ones you could probably dig through their posts and find every tactic on the list.

A bit of etiquette: if you plan to declare Bingo in a thread, post a link to your card (the page should give one to you) and a description of how you won (e.g. "lower left to lower right").

I think maybe saying that you can use the same card on any post you read after the start of the "game" would be the best way to do it lol...

It looks like Farsight might be making a comeback, so keep your eyes open and get your bingo card ready.

Which is a very common trait...

Any chance we can get that one added to crackpot bingo swansont? As I guess you'll read this ;) -Avoidance or something similar...

I copied this over from another thread; please try and avoid interjecting discussions of crackpot bingo in threads other than to actually declare BINGO!

In this case, I added "Indignation" (at being asked for evidence or other corroboration) to the list and I think that covers steadfast avoidance, at least of the "go look it up yourself" sort.

A question, if someone says "I bet you don't even have a *qualification*" and then when questioned on this says that they're doing some other qualification, does that count as school? I think it doesn't...

School — listing degrees and/or schools attended

But I'd really like it to, so close!

What's the example?

You've also got the "dropout" option. Those are the two common behaviors.

edit: the "school" square is for someone claiming (false) authority based on their extensive background. Hence the listing of their schools and degrees.
