kscvideos Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 Skylab was America's first space station and orbital science and engineering laboratory. Jon Cowart is a great host with a millionaire mustache. Enjoy, MC
smellincoffee Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 I'd also recommend SkyLab: America's Space Station for those who want to learn more. I read it in high school, and it quickly became one of my favorites.
JohnB Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 Skylab was an amazing achievement. I could go outside and watch it pass over. (I did this for the early shuttle missions too.) As an Aussie, I can recommend the secret NASA report Skylab: How not to drop a large, heavy object into the Indian Ocean.
antimatter Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 I heard about this on the radio, it was really interesting. It really got me thinking about the future of space exploration, and it was also funny cause I was re-reading Hammer Of God by Arthur C. Clarke.
