That's probably not what you had in mind. Some submarines are powers by the temperature difference between the cold ocean water and a hot hunk of radioactive crap. I think the problem of trying to use this on a large scale is that it's not easy to find a huge temperature gradient over a reasonable distance. olivier Posted May 18, 2008 Author Share Posted May 18, 2008 yes!!!! seebeck effect and peltier's effect...a conversion of temperature into electricity is somehow what i wanted...the idea of charge carriers and thermodynamic equilibrium, and thermoelectric cooling... but maybe with the latest technology energy related...i mean maybe with the sun rays as i've read before...??or without ...if we can use cold...space is supposed to have very cold places...no? update me on this please... thanx.
