Koodrayso Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 Hello, Does anyone know of spontaneous hydrogen propagation in a vacuum? I would love to know any ideas about how this occurs, theoretically. I would ultimately like to do my own experimentation upon this. Just wondering if anyone has heard of this, and direction towards any resources please. Thank you!

Not sure how you're using "propagation" here. Spontaneous generation of hydrogen would be problematic in many ways. Conservation of energy, lepton number and baryon number, for starters. However, hydrogen in a vacuum chamber is a well-known issue, since it tends to be present in metals and diffuses into the chamber when you lower the pressure.
