Ladeira Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 What do you think about music? And what kinds of music do you like? I don't know the style of music I like, but my favorite bands are Evanescence, Good Charlotte, CSS, The Used, etc. and also some songs of Mozart. I'm really addicted to music like I can't get through a day without listening to one song at least.

antimatter Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Ah I really don't like them. They make decent music, they're just really not my type.
Ladeira Posted May 28, 2008 Author Posted May 28, 2008 I love them and they don't make any concert here ;.; I love bands which make some kind of "non sense" music... like crazy bands

Dark matter Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 One's taste in music describes one's personality and inner characteristics. On that note..... -Abstract(ish) Jazz (Miles Davis, Coltrane) -Latin Jazz -Mambo -Salsa -Tango -Conservative amounts of rock... (reel big fish)

Dark matter Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 That is an unusual taste in music, it must be cool though. Yeah it's like a... spicy banana with all of the different flavors. Also, even though I really dislike rap, there is a Broadway musical called In The Heights which is Mambo rap...
Gilded Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 - Metal in general - Various genres of electronic music; DnB, house, trance, chiptunes... - Ambient, dark ambient - Drone doom ... Rev Blair Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Right now I'm listening to Elliot Brood play some serious death banjo. I'm never going to get this article written....
Blade Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Trance, dance, classical, pop, rock, music swings with my mood
antimatter Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Well thanks to Swansont I realized I forgot to mention Bobby Darin. I'm really like his music.
Rom Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 I listen to anything, but my personal favourites go as follows.. 1. Rolling Stones (Gimme Shelter and Midnight Rambler are my fav songs of all time). Followed by.. Bob Dylan, Steppenwolf, the Doors, Hendrix, Bowie, Pink Floyd, Led Zep, James Brown, Stranglers. Also Aerosmith, Feeder, Ash, Biffy Clyro and Sigur Ros. (haha, spot the odd ones out).
Ladeira Posted June 6, 2008 Author Posted June 6, 2008 There isn't good stuff in Brazil, except those who makes crazy music. And I'm really addicted to those. Like CSS or Bonde do Role (not much). By the way, I also like Coldplay (even though it makes me sleep sometimes). But Evanescence is the highest in my Music Hierarchy with amazing lyrics and incredible voice.

They remind me of Radiohead a little bit, though Radiohead are much darker.
Royston Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 I'm currently listening to the new Tipper album, Tertiary Noise, which is very good indeed...though he is my favourite artist. This is my rather odd project called 'Flaps' http://www.myspace.com/funflaps, I posted my other music project in another, very similar thread. I'm playing in Brighton tonight for a friends birthday, and I'm 'Snail' on the flyer, so I may start yet another project under that pseudonym. I realise this is for artists you like, but have a listen to 'fingers', the first track, I hope people find it suitably disturbing.
antimatter Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 but have a listen to 'fingers', the first track, I hope people find it suitably disturbing. What the F- That just ruined my day. Kudos nonetheless for originality.
Rev Blair Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 The Drive by Truckers. I can feel my neck getting redder with each track.
Rom Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 haha, Coldplay sends me straight to sleep. Best cure for insomnia. Radiohead are damn good as well, but I prefer their earlier stuff. Just found a really cool song. The video is done to perfection.. So chilled
