Klaynos Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Basically, a VERY simple catapult. One pulls on the pulley which pulls up the lever and the lever launches the load... That's not a catapult, catapults have to have some kind of spring, what you've got there is a trebuchet but you're pulling a rope instead of counterweighting it....

Yes.. I just realized that error.. oops You want two eye-hooks on the frame, on either side of the arm. Unless the pin is very thick (i.e. about the diameter of the hole) it will tend to slip and fire accidentally. I get what your saying.. Very clever...
