mooeypoo Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 (edited) You probably hear this every day, that weird phenomenon sounds makes when it whooshes you by quickly. In fact, the entire ‘whoosh’ effect - that ‘zzzzzzzzzzzhoooooooom!’ that seems all children are familiar with and use as a description for a passing car is a great hint that something is going on. (Read more and watch the video...) Do you have anything to say? Wish to discuss the experiment? Ask questions or criticize the method? Post and debate here! Please don't forget you need to register to be able to post. Edited June 22, 2008 by Cap'n Refsmmat
Baby Astronaut Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 I'm in love. Oh(!) the vid yes. (focus) Another great explanation, nice visuals. For instance how moving the duckies actually create shorter waves so visibly in front of it. Really cool being able to see the effects in action that simply. A couple of your vids do perhaps make it difficult to concentrate on the subject, but as a good quality....where I'm now unlikely to forget anything learned
insane_alien Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 you missed so many pacman jokes with that tennisball.
