help on cryptogram

hello geniuses and not so geniuses,i would like some help with a cryptogram i can not solve and im very bad at cryptograms.

 

SAT TARY UV MIGLI UL PAUN ST

 

heres also a poem that comes with it:

 

MY LATIN I HOLD DEAR,

OF LETTERS I HAVE TEN,

BUT MAY I NEVER SEE NOR HEAR,

THOSE CHERISHED WORDS AGAIN.

 

PLEASE HELP ME ON THIS 1 I REALY CANT CRACK IT.

It's too short to effectively solve.

 

There are two details to go off. The first word is "SAT" and the last is "ST." There's only one solution I can think of for those to both be words. "TWO" and "TO." The only other detail you have to go off of is "UV" and "UL" are both words. A quick check of common two letter words shows that they're probably "IT" "IN" or "IS." None of the letters in the remaining words give adequate clues. As far as I can go is:

 

TWO _W__ I_ _____ I_ _W__ TO

That's a pretty horrible Latin translation... Did you use an online engine or something? >.<

You shouldn't. Those things are bad even for languages whose grammar is somewhat comparable to English.

If I am correct, stay vigilant comes up alot in this puzzle no? well. from what I can see in SAT TARY UV MIGLI UL PAUN ST you can get SaT tArY uV mIGlI uL pAuN sT. now if you take the capitalized letters, and throw them away, you get atrum lupus. which is 10 letters, and is latin for shadow wolf. No crypto.
