woarber Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 I finished reading Sleator's The Last Universe and wondered if that could be really experienced or created. Such a thing would be in itself a uncertainty. But my main question is this. Could a park manifest itself in a way that could allow flowers from a different climate could grow?

Do you have to power something like that?
woarber Posted July 11, 2008 Author Posted July 11, 2008 (edited) Of course I couldn't power that I'm just asking if it's possible. All the quantum in the world collecting into this park. Of course say, there was a power plant a block down. Maybe cold fusion.( Theoretical, maybe near future. Not saying nowadays.) Or maybe it leaked radioactivity into the park and maybe the radioactivity attracted subatomic particles. Edited July 11, 2008 by woarber
Darth Calculus Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 So your saying there is some kind of park that is able to power itself efficiently enough to provide it's self energy to support an ecological subsystem in region that is completely unrelated to regular environment in which these organism exist? If so, perhaps I may have an answer to your question. Here is some food for thought, what if there could be a possible quantum rip in the universe that could potentially cause unsystematic or indiscriminate events to occur as if they were influenced by the simple action of belief or human thought. This being the case, perhaps this quantum park has the ability to materialize it's self according to the manifested collection of thoughts and beliefs from nearby residing humans. Theoretically, the only possible way this could happen would have to be under strict conditions, under these conditions would have to exist an individual that posses an unnatural amount of psychic and universal energy that discharges it's self into a shell or some kind of supernatural being that has the ability to think as a sentient being. I admit I may have strayed a bit much into my imagination but if that answers your question then I hoped it helped.
