jess_toms Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Hello. Looking for a soft for recording from streaming radios.Anyone knows or uses a good one?
ParanoiA Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Why can't you just use your soundcard? I'm thinking you could select "What you Hear" or WAV, Stereo Mix, whatever yours is labeled, as your recording input and just use your microsoft sound recorder to record it.
Externet Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 ... A "soft" ?... I have recorded a dozen of CD with Ubuntu > Applications > Sound & Video > Sound recorder; and then 'Serpentine Audio CD creator' But do not know the way to do the same with videos on the web.
jess_toms Posted July 23, 2008 Author Posted July 23, 2008 Thanks. As for ubuntu, I was rather thinking of something that would work on win xp.
insane_alien Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 vlc works on XP. just point it towards the stream and select the format you want to save it in and it'll do it.
r0ch3ll3gb Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 try radiotracker, it should work for you.Records from internet radiso and works on xp and vista.
ecoli Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 audacity is the best, IMO. You can set it to record off the soundcard.
