KHinfcube22 Posted April 10, 2004 Posted April 10, 2004 I have recently downloaded a whole bunch of ROMs from some really god sites. A lot made by Square Soft and a relatively old. Through much hard work, I've come to find that I personally think the original Star Ocean for SNES is the best ever. Seeing as not only are it's graphics better than any game created in its time, the storyline itself is just plain amazing.
KHinfcube22 Posted April 10, 2004 Author Posted April 10, 2004 Final Fantasy VII rocked. Yes, very much so it did. That was the hard work. Trying to figure out which one I liked best. The whole storyline behind FFVII was amazing, and was the first FF game I ever played.
Dave Posted April 10, 2004 Posted April 10, 2004 Twas the first one I played as well (on my brother's at the time brand new psx).
Radical Edward Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 I will hand out free permanent bans to anyone who chooses an option other than FFVII (Just kidding, I wouldn't stifle freedom of choice in this manner, no, I would just kneecap you or something) 1
blike Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 SNES FF > PSX FF I will admit FF VII was pretty good, but the two on SNES rock. ::ducks:: 1
KHinfcube22 Posted April 16, 2004 Author Posted April 16, 2004 I KNOW!!! I have it and I can't beat the final boss. Not like I have tried hard, I play Earthbound more, but it was a great game.
Sayonara Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 Sephiroth? It takes a while to beat him down, but it's doable. You need to really think about who gets what magic and items etc, and go in prepared. It also helps to have that repeat/retaliate materia (can't remember what it's called) and the Knights of the Round Guardian Force. They aren't easy to get hold of but they're in the strategy guides.
Hades Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 as the official final fantasy nerd/guru, it is my educated opinion that FFX was, and will always be the best game ever created. 7 was an great game, as was 8. 9 was a thro back to older final fantasies, so albeit some think it was a vaguely boring game, it fulfilled my expectations of the series. But when we get to talking about x, i can go on endlessly, as u can tell.

I mean the FFII boss. I have the masamune and the other sword, marasme or something.
