Cap'n Refsmmat Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 And on the 15th, they'll say, "Maybe the 20th". Oh, and I thought the announcements forum was meant for only moderators to post in. That's odd.

MulderMan Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 so you have took the test to get into med school? or have passed med school? i heard something like that on ER but im not sure
blike Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 so you have took the test to get into med school? or have passed med school? i heard something like that on ER but im not sure It's the test to get into medical school. There is no passing or failing though. You get a number score and a percentile rank, which medical schools correlate with your GPA and other factors to determine whether or not they want you. Just because you do well does not mean you are admitted. It's one of a number of factors considered (though it is weighed the highest). The test is 100 passage based questions which test your knowledge of biology, chemistry, and physics, as well as your verbal reasoning and writing capacity. Sample physical sciences: http://www.aamc.org/students/mcat/pssampleitems.pdf Sample verbal reasoning: http://www.aamc.org/students/mcat/vrsampleitems.pdf Sample biological sciences: http://www.aamc.org/students/mcat/bssampleitems.pdf no calculators or formula sheets
brad89 Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 I have to say, if that is you on your avatar, you don't strike me as a med student. Just kidding. That was kind of random. Anyway, congradulations!
