ScienceMom Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 What is a literature value in chemistry?
insane_alien Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 a value taken from some reference book. For instance, i have a well used book(let) of values called 'Thermodynamic and Transport Properites of Fluids' it mainly concerns steam. if you want to know, say, the literature value for the heat capacity of steam at 300*C i can find that on page 10 and its listed as 6.18 kJ/kgK.
