Drewid Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 i have never read kuhn, so i probably should do, but i am hoping my questions can be answered in this forum, if not would you please direct me to where i could get it answered. here goes: my questions are these. 1. in kuhn's theory of paradigms, what does he mean by paradigms? in his theory are the paradigms meant to be an observation of how scientific theories have been accepted in the past, or are they meant as an applied philosophy, to which science should be subjected, for future theories to survive? what does he man by dogma, and how is this related to his theory of paradigms
