Gampin Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Can someone explain this to me? http://www.americanantigravity.com/video/Nov7-Outdoor2-WinMedia.wmv
Crash Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Suspended on strings, attached to the tree (seen in background) tapped by a bored teenager on vacation. Seriously, i need more info to give ya my opnion. it needs a description or something~
AntiMagicMan Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 The video is so fuzzy that strings could easily have been edited out.
Gampin Posted April 23, 2004 Author Posted April 23, 2004 Okay, well if someone can explain this then. http://www.americanantigravity.com/technology.html I don't think the video is movie magic though.
Lance Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Oh that’s called a lifter (not anti-gravity despite the claims). It works by sending high voltage through the wires. There is aluminum on the sides and at the tops of the points with an air gap in between. Ions flow from the top to the bottom pushing the lifter up. Edit: The strings are not edited out, there are no strings just very thin wires. You can see them if you look very closely.
Gampin Posted April 25, 2004 Author Posted April 25, 2004 Does that make the air over the top lighter than the air below the lifter?
swansont Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Does that make the air over the top lighter than the air below the lifter? No, it's just action-reaction. The ions are accelerated downward, so the lifter is accelerated upward.
