Hi,

What symbol do you use for a radical species?

You know, that dot that's larger than a period and smaller than a bullet?

hi,

don't know if this is good latex or not, but after a search, I hacked it by fiddling with the size and vertical alignment of \bullet.

\newcommand{\rad}{\raisebox{0.4ex}{\scriptsize{\ensuremath{\bullet}}}}

best,

Tony.

I usually just use ^{.} within a \ce command, when using the mhchem package.
