I highly recommend not learning VBScript. Even Microsoft has abandoned it in favor of JavaScript, which is now behind every single aspect of client-side development under the aegis of ASP.NET. They've announced that it will not be developed further.

 

That having been said, it is still used in legacy ASP and of course in supporting Windows Server installations. I would start here:
