nathanielfirst Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 I am attempting to locate sources, online or otherwise, that will give me information on the response rate of schizophrenics to antipsychotic medications by subtype. paranoid vs. catatonic, etc., does anyone have any ideas?
wle7378 Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 have you tried like the encyclopedia of mental illness and disorders? maybe that will help oh and encyclopedia mental health, thats a great one too
iNow Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 Nathaniel, It's tough to answer your question without looking into specific brands/formulations. Although two drugs may be classified as antipsychotic, they won't necessarily have the same structure. You might try including the phrase "response curve" to the searches you try. Good luck.
nathanielfirst Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 wow that helps out a lot. i've tried encyclopedias @ the library, don't know if I hit up those exact ones.
