interstellar Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 On November 16th the Leonid meteor shower will peak. It should produce about 15 bright meteorites per hour. Enjoy the show, weather permitting.:-)
YT2095 Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 I`ve got it marked up as the 17`th, but eitherway, I`ll be taking pictures (long exposure on 120 roll film) and Infrared Video over a few nights, and as you rightly say "Weather permitting".
dirtyamerica Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 sweet, another good reason to talk the family into a camping trip!!!
Flashman Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 I'd look for them tonight, see if there's a bit of an early flush, but we have a CSS* problem (*Can't see ssssquat, or in this case, can see sleet.) Just wondering if I could spend the day tomorrow getting one of those hacks to run on my S5IS so I could try some super high ISO 1 or 2 min exposures if it's clear tomorrow 1
